Holding precepts is very important to practice.

No matter what kind of Buddhist practice, Buddhism is always based on admonition. If you don't keep the precepts, even if you are wise, you are evil.

Scholars must follow Buddhist precepts and become Supreme Bodhisattva scriptures. If we follow Buddhist precepts, no matter how we practice meditation, chant Buddha and preach Buddhist scriptures, all of them are Buddhist Dharma. If we leave Buddhist precepts, chant Buddha and preach Buddhist scriptures, they are also contrary to Buddhist Dharma and go outside the Tao.

The first thing to do is to keep precepts. The precept is the root of the Supreme Bodhisattva. Only by the precept can one be born and wise. There is no good without practicing the precepts. The four pure and clear teachings in the Shurangama Sutra tell us that "those who practice samadhi without admonishment can not get out of the dust, and even before the presence of Multi-wisdom meditation, they fall into evil ways." You know the importance of adhering to precepts.

Those who hold the precepts are supported by the Dragon Heaven and revered outside the devil; those who break the precepts are scavenging their tracks with ghost words and thieves. Once upon a time there was a poisonous dragon near the Sanghala Blue in the Kingdom of Kaibin. Five hundred Arhats gathered together and used meditation to expel him, but they could not drive him away. Later, another monk, who did not meditate, only said a word to the poisonous dragon: "The virtuous go far here." The dragon ran away. All the Arhats asked the monk what magic power drove the poisonous dragon away? He said, "I do not use meditation power, and I am always cautious to guard light precautions, just like heavy prohibitions."

Let's imagine that the meditation power of 500 Arhats is not as good as that of a strictly forbidden monk. Or Yun: Six ancestors said, "He who works hard and keeps precepts in peace of mind, what is the use of meditation in straight line?" May I ask if your heart is straight? Chang'e hugged you naked for a month. Would you mind not? Can you stop hating people who abuse you and beat you up unreasonably? Can you not distinguish between love and hate, people and me, right or wrong? If you can do it all, you should open your mouth, otherwise you should not talk empty words.

The purpose of admonition.

Although Buddha speaks of all kinds of Dharma, no matter how big or small Mahayana precepts are, they are based on three attitudes and five precepts. Make sure that the recipients do nothing evil and do good. If we set up a family to govern the country, we will end up with humanitarianism. And when the cause of suffering is restored, the bitter fruits are extinguished, and the three pains are relieved, it is easy to enter Buddhism in the living world, then the study of Buddhism will be exhausted. Therefore, three returns and five precepts are the best way to guide the world and to extricate suffering and happiness.

If you want to get rid of the stickiness of life and death and get rid of the trouble, you can't do anything without the five precepts. Therefore, Yun: "Five precepts do not hold, the road between man and nature is absolute." The husband's "precepts" are the basis of good and evil, the basis of morality, and the tool of transcendent sanctification. From the precept to the birth and development of wisdom, and from the precept to the wisdom, we can become positive consciousness through the Bodhisattva Way. Therefore, it is time for Buddha to ascend the precepts. Therefore, it is said that "precepts are supreme Bodhisattva books".

If you want not to violate these five precepts, you should pay attention to them. If you are arrogant, you can't separate, love and hate are nothing. Why do all kinds of bad deeds come into being? Therefore, the Shurangama Sutra says, "Take your mind as a precaution, because precepts lead to life, wisdom comes from certainty." When we know that the word "mindfulness" has three characteristics: full precept, determination and wisdom, and no omission of learning. If we break away from greed and ignorance, we can not afford to do evil and do good by ourselves. Therefore, the word "mindfulness" can not only save people's hearts and maintain the Tao of the world; if you can mindfulness in one place, you can do nothing without doing anything, long time and deep achievements, Bodhi can be expected.

Nowadays, Buddhism is more prevalent in Pure Land and Zen. But it is unreasonable for the monks to neglect the precepts. Because the fundamental meaning of Buddhism and Dharma is the word "precept, determination and wisdom", such as tripod, which is indispensable. This is what each of us who study Buddhism should pay special attention to.

Holding precepts begins with ten virtues.

Buddha Dharma is the method of dividing all human beings into their own parts. It is the Supreme Bodhisattva that we should always keep a firm foothold and keep away from delusions and persistence. Goodall said, "Ordinary mind is Tao." Just like Confucius's doctrine, it is "the mean". Jordan said, "No bias means mediocrity, no difficulty means mediocrity." The covenant side said: the middle way, everything is as good as nothing. Mediocrity, mediocrity, away from strange forces and disorderly gods, do things according to their own rules, nothing strange.

The same is true of Buddhism and Dharma. We need to be friendly from plain place and friendly from plain place, so that we can have a little corresponding points, so that we can not be in vain. There is no such thing as ten virtues in a plain way. Ten good people: abstain from corruption, voice, dementia, killing, stealing, prostitution, gossip, delusion, tongue and mouth. It is often said by the old monks that the ten virtues are the foundation of Buddha's ancestry if they can be truly practiced. It is also an opportunity to establish a pure land for world peace.

Six ancestors said, "He who works hard to keep precepts in peace of mind." It's for the top roots. Upper roots and wisdom hear the law and act accordingly, such as crossing the river in Xiangxiang, closing the river and passing by, good and no, what is evil. If it's at the bottom, it's often turned around by the wind.

How easy is it to talk about the word "Xinping"? There are eight situations: profit, decline, destruction, reputation, reputation, ridicule, bitterness and happiness, which are called Eight Winds. Pedestrians are greedy when they encounter favorable wind, sorrowful when they encounter declining wind, angry when they encounter destructive wind, joyful when they encounter fame wind, unquestionable when they encounter fame wind, angry because of shame when they encounter ridicule wind, lost their guardianship when they encounter bitter wind, and forgetting to return when they encounter joy wind. If the wind blows, the mood moves, life and death come, how to resist the enemy.

If you keep going step by step, engage in mutual recognition: raise your heart and mind, when practicing ten good deeds. Although the facts are at the end of the story, the final picture is the origin, and the disease is Bodhi.
